A Sesshoumaru and Kagome Story

Prelude: A Time of Before and After
They say every story has a beginning and an ending.
But there is also a belief that talks of how the world moves in a whirlwind of cause and effect, of action and reaction where one thing inevitably leads to another. It makes you wonder how much of what you do is really yours alone; where the choices made by others end and where yours truly begin.
It gives time an odd quality, turning it into an intangible existence that has no beginning and no ending. It goes on, the essence of our actions and our decisions. It becomes embedded in the before and the after, forever changing the paths that are given to us. It becomes a cycle of time that keeps going.
Kagome had never given destiny much thought. That's not to say that she didn't believe in such a thing. She just didn't think she had one. And then it found her.
Yes, for good or bad, I've restarted this fic again after 4 years of neglect. God help me.

* And yes, this account is also me. I normally don't use this account to post my fics or do anything non-graphics related, but I forgot to log out. :P

Date: June 25th, 2006 06:34 am (UTC)I like the air you create with your writings; something I've noticed after reading Pictures on the Wall and this one. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but its very soothing.

Date: June 25th, 2006 09:09 am (UTC)And really? I have a soothing air in my writing? *_* Ah, I love that. ^^; Thank you very much. Oddly enough, even though my life revolves around graphics and design so much more- I actually care more about what people think of my writing. :p

Date: June 25th, 2006 06:53 pm (UTC)As for your question- I'd say no, nothing major will change. You might remember the horrid mistake I made about when Inuyasha turned human- that bugged me a whole lot, and that's probably the biggest change I've made to the revisions (a necessary one, of course). Other than that, I'd say the "changes" would be better classified as additions. I added more details and such. The dialogue between characters will probably remain the same in essence, but the wording is edited in some areas. My writing style has changed quite a bit through out the years, so that area has been tampered with as well. :) That's about all, really!
Anyhow, thank you again for the comments- I'll try my best to update as fast as I can! ^^
you wrote!

Date: June 26th, 2006 07:23 am (UTC)It's gonna be difficult writing it since I'm just not a big fan of the series like I used to be, but I liked the idea of my story so I'm trying to get it out! I didn't think you liked this story all that much...so I'm glad to hear you're happy about me picking it up again. ^^
Oh, btw, I went to look for you online the other day but you were away. :(
