Author's Note: These are just a few short drabbly things (not inter-connected) written back in January on Tumblr for the GaaSaku month event. I'm only now realizing I actually never got around to archiving them here. Due to the delay and the fact that a couple of them are super short, I've gone ahead and lumped them together in one post.

All of these are written with prompts or specific requests in mind, but they also crept out of some kind of head canon where Sakura and Gaara are sort of already in a relationship... I think. The latter explains the somewhat lame title of this collection, unfortunately.

Timeline: Undefined future, probably a few years after end of series.
Summary: For a phantom, Sai felt very real. He was always there, his presence stronger than any solid person could ever hope to be. And for someone he had never met, Akira had begun to think he knew Sai better than he knew most people.

Author's Note: Done a few days ago over at the Hikago May 5th Comment Fic Fest on Dreamwidth. The theme I wrote for was 'There stands the shadow of a glorious name.' I came across it about 3 hours before the deadline and ended up with this. My first Hikago fanfic ever... and 555 words just because I can. :D Revised it for a naming decision and ended up adding a few more words. :p

Author's Notes: Written on a whim for the 04/18/2006 challenge, "(in parenthesis)" at 31_days. It was my first attempt at writing a NANA fic - quite unplanned but it popped up out of the nowhere the moment I saw the theme, which resulted in super speed writing all in one go at the last few minutes of the theme day.
