Author's Note: I've foregone the chapter notes and geekery this time around, since I think they might be better covered after next chapter instead. I'm also going to be working on this fic for NaNoWriMo this year, OMG.

Perhaps it's because Pictures on the Wall is a story I've never had anyone to really talk to about, I'm always fretting over it - monstrous thing of doom that it is. That's a decade of fretting, I just realized. :P But I have lots of thoughts about the fic, because, well, it's rather impossible not have any for a story I spent so many years mulling over.

That said, I've decided to go ahead and begin re-posting revisions for the story. More than anything, this is to prevent me from editing the revisions any further. It was my original intention to get at least half the story revised before I begin posting, but I'm beginning to realize that I'll never stop fiddling with them if I don't put it out for the public - and I've been fiddling for years. Yes, years. And the versions only got worse, not better. Enough is enough, me thinks. ._.

To thank my readers and to get my brain moving again for Pictures on the Wall, I'm opening the fic up for cookie / drabble / ficlet requests at the yahoo group and here. :) Not sure how many people would be interested in this at all, but I figure I'd give it a shot.

So what you do is comment with your choice of character(s) and/or theme, and I'll write something for you. It may come in the form of a drabble, a random clip, one-shot, or just a few sentences. It can be as general as "Isao and Nao" or as specific as "Mo and Nao, five years old in the bathtub" or whatever. :D I'm also up for doing one-sentence challenges, so if that's what you want, let me know. All cookies will be posted to this journal.

Note: It's possible there may be cases where I decide not to respond to your particular request for whatever reason. If that happens, I'll let you know and you can pick something else.

P.S. I can't guarantee how fast I'd churn these things out, since I'm rather busy these days... but I'll get to them!

Moving my Pictures on the Wall character guide here, since I'm no longer keeping the Yahoo group active and I don't want to clutter the actual fic with my (numerous) miscellaneous info. Like before, I'm keeping a character guide in case anyone needs it as I'm aware I've got quite a large original cast going on in this fic - which with the Japanese custom of using both last names and first names, it may potentially be daunting.

ETA Note, Feb. 15, 2012: Since I've removed all the chapters save for the prologue from ff.net, I'm also going to redo the character guide and will be posting them chapter by chapter as the revised versions go up. Those who remember my old character guide will notice that the info has become a lot more brief and also now organized by chapter. In hindsight, I really think my old character guides were a bit too spoiley for new readers - plus I'm hoping that the fic itself has a chance to speak for the characters as well. ;p
